From Thanksgiving through the new year, there are countless opportunities to give back to the local community. Our brands are committed to supporting the people and the places they serve.

From Charlotte to Colorado to Canada, here are four stories of giving back this holiday season.

Collision brands give gifts to families fighting Cystic Fibrosis

Our collision brands, Abra, CARSTAR, and Fix Auto USA, partnered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to donate nearly $3,000 worth of gifts to families in the greater Charlotte area fighting cystic fibrosis. Each family provided a wish list, and we fulfilled the wish list for children and their families. Employees packed and wrapped the presents to add holiday cheer.

Cystic Fibrosis research and advocacy is a mission that Driven Brands has supported for more than two decades after a franchise owner’s granddaughter received a cystic fibrosis diagnosis. Our franchise partners, vendors, and community supporters have helped raise over $5 million over 25 years for CF research, care, and advocacy.

Auto Glass Now assembles bikes for kids in need

For thousands of children across Colorado, Santa came a little early this year.

On December 2, the team from Auto Glass Now in Lakewood, Colorado participated in the 15th Annual Holiday Toy Shop by Kenzi’s Causes, a non-profit organization that supports underprivileged children and their families throughout Colorado by providing them with the tools and resources needed to truly thrive and live an overall more well-rounded life.

More than 130 kids received brand new bikes at the Holiday Toy Shop event in Denver and the team from Auto Glass Now put together 10 of them for very deserving kids.

“It’s the holiday season, and we want to make a difference in the community where we live and work,” said Erik Carruth of AutoGlassNow. “We’re proud to lend our time and resources to help build bikes, collect toys and volunteer at the Holiday Toy Shop to distribute toys to these deserving kids. It’s heart-warming and inspiring to see the joy in their eyes when they receive their presents.”

CARSTAR raises more than $11,000 for food banks across Canada

Ten CARSTAR Canada locations came together this year to collect food items and finds for local food banks in Thunder Bay, Red Deer, Edmonton, and Newmarket. Together.

“Our CARSTAR franchise family has always prioritized giving back to their local communities and this year was no different,” said Dave Foster, VP of Network Promotion and Development, CARSTAR Canada. “I am proud of our owners for recognizing the struggles many people in their communities are facing this year and thrilled with the way our network was able to step up and support.”

CARSTAR introduced the Drive to Donate program this holiday season - following on inspiration from two locations, CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South.

“We know this time of year can be challenging for some and our team is passionate about helping those in need,” said Romena Deokinandan, co-owner of CARSTAR Newmarket. “It was incredible to see the dedication from each of our employees in this initiative and we look forward to continuing to help our neighborhood for years to come.”
