Driven Brands celebrates the holidays across our family of brands

This holiday season, the Driven Brands family is embracing the spirit of celebration and generosity. From packing meals for children in need and supporting local charities to fun holiday celebrations and honoring dedicated employees, each brand is finding unique ways to make a positive impact.

Here’s a highlight of some of the neat things our employees and franchise owners are doing.

Auto Glass Now finds holiday spirit with ugly sweaters and festive flair

Auto Glass Now embraced the holiday spirit with a nationwide Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. Employees from across the country are submitting photos to show off their most outrageous and creative holiday sweaters. To add to the cheer, Auto Glass Now shops are also decking the halls with festive decorations.

Driven leaders support Ronald McDonald House

Driven Brands Leadership Holiday giveback event This holiday season, the Driven Brands leadership team supported the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston, South Carolina. They worked in teams to stuff to-go meal bags, pack holiday gifts, and assemble toys for the house's playground. Additionally, Driven Brands donated $10,000 to the Ronald McDonald Charities of Charleston Expansion which will involve building a new facility adjacent to the current house.

This new space will have 46 bedrooms with private bathrooms, a large kitchen and dining room, fitness room, multiple laundry rooms, separate play areas for toddlers, youth and teens, and more. Construction is set to begin in 2025.

Take 5 Car Wash honors Saint Lavelle and shows up for NICU families

Take 5 Car Wash NICU web This holiday season the Take 5 Car Wash in Perrysburg, Ohio, is rallying behind NICU families at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital. Take 5 team member Skye Lavelle wanted to honor her late son, Saint, who was cared for at the NICU. She led the way to donate a total of 51 blankets, 5 card games, and 39 crochet octopus, which gives NICU babies something to grab onto instead of their tubes. Many of her teammates at Take 5 Car Wash contributed to the cause.

IMO Car Wash lights up the night

IMO Car Wash Czech web For the grand opening of a new car wash in Teplice, Czech Republic, Country Manager Jan Matura wanted to make it an unforgettable night. The IMO team covered cars in holiday lights and the cars queued up as if they were waiting to go through the wash. The team also brought in some American cars and donned them with holiday lights.

The result was a stunning visual in the night!

Maaco Makes-A-Wish

Maaco 2 - web In November, Maaco hosted its annual convention in Hollywood, Florida. At the event, Maaco proved the power of community. They raised more than $16,000 and hosted a charity relay to pack 100 Thanksgiving meals for community members in need. The money raised at the convention is on top of a $10,000 donation to a local Make-A-Wish chapter.

The Maaco Foundation, with support from the Driven Brands Charitable Foundation, strives to make a difference through Make-A-Wish, the United Way’s Mission United program, and the Maaco Heart Fund, which provides assistance to franchisees and employees in need.

Collision brands team up with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

collision holiday web The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is the charity of choice for our Collision brands: Abra, CARSTAR, and Fix Auto USA, after a franchise owner’s granddaughter was diagnosed with the disease more than 25 years ago.

For the second year, the Driven Brands Collision team in Charlotte purchased presents for families in need through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Holiday Family Sponsor Program. Working together, the Collision Group shopped and packed gifts for more than 20 people.

In November, Andrew Neldeberg, Senior Marketing Manager, and Molly, Marketing Coordinator, were part of this year's STANDOUT class. STANDOUT is a young professional program through the Northern Carolina Chapter of CFF. This year’s honorees raised over $75,000.

Take 5 Oil Change packs meals for children

Take 5 Oil Change 2024 holiday FMSC web Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) empowers volunteers to pack meals for the malnourished in nearly 70 countries. To support the important work that FMSC does, more than 80 Take 5 Oil Change leaders in the Texoma region set aside time to give back. They worked together to pack more than 29,000 meals that will feed 79 children for one year.

CARSTAR Johnny K Group donates to Edmonton Food Bank

Johnny K1 web Carstar 2024 holiday The CARSTAR Johnny K Group, led by Johnny Kloeckes, partnered with the Edmonton Insurance Association (EIA) for its annual food bank drive. The group collected an impressive 200kg of non-perishable food items, generously donated by Edmonton brokers. In addition, Johnny K also donated $800 directly to the Edmonton Food Bank, further supporting families in need this holiday season.

KLST Abra honors employees with holiday tradition

Abra Duluth Thanksgiving web Kedrick and Lou Johnson, along with their sons, Scott and Todd, (KLST) joined the Abra franchise in 1994. Since then, KLST Abra has made it a tradition to celebrate their team members’ hard work and dedication by personally delivering turkeys to their team members. This year, they delivered 130 turkeys across all six locations.

“We believe it’s important to recognize the dedication of our team. Their hard work throughout the year deserves to be celebrated, and this small gesture is our way of showing our appreciation,” said Kedrick Johnson. “We’re grateful for the amazing people who make our business thrive.”

Fix Auto Avondale owner paints a brighter future for local teens

Troy Buck, owner of Fix Auto Avondale, is passionate about empowering young people to explore their creative potential. That is why he chose to participate in this year’s annual Christmas Pudding concert hosted by Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center. The event raises funds to support free music, arts, and vocational programs for teens at the Solid Rock Teen Centers. On December 7, Troy took the stage and auctioned off a signed Alice Cooper painting that he had painted himself. He also announced an exciting collaboration with Solid Rock’s new Goodyear location, just down the street from his Fix Auto Avondale shop.
