Driven employees volunteer to support Charlotte nonprofit
The Driven Brands Women's ERG supported the Diaper Bank of North Carolina at two events.

As Women’s History Month wrapped up, the Driven Brands Women’s ERG (employee resource group) hosted a donation drive benefiting the Charlotte chapter of the Diaper Bank of North Carolina. That event collected over 1,600 items to benefit the Diaper Bank.
Then in April, for National Volunteer Month, more than 20 employees and family members sorted and packed items at the organization’s warehouse. These Driven Brands volunteers packed more than 7,800 items, which will benefit 786 people.
“Volunteering is such a vital component to the non-profit community and what a great way to kick off National Volunteer Month. It is an amazing feeling to see our employees and family members come together to support an important cause,” said Jessica Stewart, Driven Brands, Head of Community Impact. “I look forward to collaborating with our ERGs, departments and employees with more volunteer initiatives this year.”
Social safety net programs DO NOT cover the cost of diapers, so many lower income families are left having to decide between diapers and other essential needs. Diaper Bank of NC distributes packs of diapers and other personal care items through community partners – at no cost to the recipients.
“It was incredible to see our employees come together to support this cause,” said Christine Mulder, Driven Brands Divisional CIO and co-Chair of the Women’s ERG. “We heard stories of how this organization makes a difference in the Charlotte community, and how great the need is. We were all inspired and I loved volunteering with colleagues from across the company.”
As part of the Driven Brands Employee Volunteer Program, the organization also received to further assist with their program efforts.
