Celebrating the 2025 summer interns at Driven Brands
In honor of Intern Appreciation Day, Driven Brands shines the spotlight on our team of 2025 summer interns.

In celebration of Intern Appreciation Day on July 31, we’re proud to introduce and recognize the incredible interns who supported Driven Brands this summer across a wide range of teams — from analytics and operations to marketing and FP&A.
Each spotlight highlights their unique contributions and gives them the chance to reflect on what they’ve learned about what it means to be driven in work and in life.
We’re grateful for the energy, insight, and enthusiasm they brought to Driven Brands, and we wish them all the best in their next chapters.
Thank you for being part of the Driven Brands team this summer!

One skill built this summer that you'll keep developing: Expanding my network. I've really enjoyed getting to know my fellow interns, team members, and coworkers at Driven. I plan to continue fostering these relationships through meetings, grabbing lunch, or simply having conversations.
One part of your work at Driven that has surprised you: The diversity of people who work at Driven! People of all races, ethnicities, and genders are welcome, which is something I greatly appreciate. Even the locations of the employees are very diverse - for example, my whole team is fully remote, and everyone is based in entirely different parts of the country! It is great that everyone is accepted with open arms here at Driven.

One part of your work at Driven that has surprised you: One part of my work that surprised me was how much thought goes into building dynamic expressions in Qlik. At first, I thought it would just be about making charts, but it turned out to be more complex, like making sure the data responds correctly to different filters and figuring out how to structure expressions, so they stay accurate across different user selections. It was more challenging than I expected, but also really rewarding because it helped me think more strategically about how data is presented.
How this internship shaped or changed your thinking about the kind of career you want: This internship has made me more interested in pursuing a career in business analytics. I’ve had a pleasant experience working here and really enjoyed analyzing and presenting data in meaningful ways. It showed me how impactful good analysis can be in helping teams make better decisions. The hands-on experience has given me a clear idea of what day-to-day work in this field is like, and it made me even more excited about continuing to grow my skills in this field.

One skill built this summer that you'll keep developing: Using new tools and software. This summer I have gotten exposure to platforms I have never worked with before, and I realized how much I enjoy diving into something unfamiliar and figuring out how it works.
One part of your work at Driven that has surprised you: I didn’t realize how much cross-team coordination happens. So many different departments rely on each other. It was interesting to see how all the different roles connect to keeping things running smoothly.

Go-to pump-up song: Meet Me Halfway by the Black Eyed Peas
Road trip role: Driver
How this internship shaped or changed your thinking about the kind of career you want: This internship has encouraged me to continue to think about the career I want to pursue. Being involved with the property management team has allowed me to get a closer look into the real estate industry and its role in the company. It is exciting to see the daily responsibilities that keep the team moving in a positive direction, and it has inspired me to continue to pursue working in commercial real estate.
One skill built this summer that you'll keep developing: One skill I've been building this summer is the ability to communicate effectively with my coworkers. It is important to be able to seek help and ask questions when needed, which allows for a more efficient work process. I want to continue to work on this skill throughout my career, as I believe it is one of the most important skills to utilize to create a successful product.
Myriahm Gonzalez, Tax Intern
Go-to pump-up song: Favorite Crime by Olivia Rodrigo

One part of your work at Driven that has surprised you: One of the projects I have worked on during my internship involved helping analyze and compare our 2025 Q2 Pretax Book Income 5+7 Forecast to previous quarterly forecasts. This project was more complicated than I expected because I had to draw conclusions about why and how the PTBI amounts have changed from previous quarters, despite knowing little about it.
One skill built this summer that you'll keep developing: My internship with the taxes team has strengthened my detail-oriented skills. I constantly have to double-check my work to make sure I correctly wrote all Excel formulas in my projects and ensure that the source of the data has been updated correctly. This is a skill that I would like to keep working on because it is essential if you want to have accurate results.

One part of your work at Driven that has surprised you: One thing that surprised me was the flexibility in being involved with multiple projects. I expected to be assigned to one task, but instead, I’ve had the chance to see projects from start to finish while also sitting in on meetings and contributing to other ongoing work. It’s kept things interesting and has helped me learn a lot in a short time.
How this internship shaped or changed your thinking about the kind of career you want: This internship has given me a better understanding of what goes into managing AR and AP teams effectively. Although I may not have originally considered this area as a career path, the experience has opened my eyes to new opportunities in operations and process improvement that I hadn’t thought about before.
Ben Solis, Marketing Intern (Maaco)

One skill built this summer that you'll keep developing: I’ve been introduced to many different software tools this summer for creating newsletters, conducting social listening and analytics, managing projects, and more. These are all valuable skills for my career, and I hope to continue developing them as I familiarize myself with the platforms and grow when I return to campus.
How this internship shaped or changed your thinking about the kind of career you want: This internship has solidified my desire to pursue an in-house marketing career, as opposed to agency work. I’ve enjoyed shadowing agency professionals and seeing the diversity of clients and projects they handle, but I prefer to focus on one subject and learn every aspect of how it works. Thanks to Maaco’s structure, I’ve been able to do exactly that.
